BIXLER, Dallas (1910-1990)

Olympic Games: Gold-HB, Wright states that Dallas’ performance on the HB brought a score of 18.33 out of 20.00, which was a remarkable winning score.  He also writes that it took several hours before he received his medal since there were so few people in the stands when he won. In addition, Dallas was one of the five UCLA Bruins to win Olympic medals for the first time in the university’s 13-year history, Los Angeles, CA, (1932). Bixler was also active as a judge in So. California.
